Games - Les jeux

There are five games which have been specially created to help you practice the key vocabulary for this topic.  Some of the links will take you to the QUIA website which allows you to play the games online.  You do not need to login.  When you want to return to LA FAMILLE menu, click on the picture of the family.

How to Play

Crossword - click on a line in the crossword to see the clue in English, then type in the letters for the answer in French.

 

Word Match - there are two lists of words displayed in columns.  Link the French word on the left to the correct English word on the right.

 

Hangman - guess which letters are in the word, remember these will all be words you have been learning within this topic.

 

Battleships - play against the computer - try to find the hidden ships in the grid.  If you find a ship, you have to correctly answer the question to score a hit.

 

Wordsearch - there is a list of words, find where they are hidden in the grid and win stars.
